Cultivar Modern maturing in 75 days, provides excellent impetus to the farmers for growing as a catch crop ( Menon, 1984) ; but the cultivar is highly susceptible to Alternaria blight disease as found in this present study as well as by carlier workers. So to combat the disease, it would be most appropriate and feasible to keep the cultivar free from the disease through appropriate plant protection measures. Not Available |
