Description An experiment was conducting during the winter (rabi) season of 2001-02 and 2002-03 at National Research Center on Rapeseed-Mustard, Sewar, Bharatpur on sandy-loam soils to study the effect of integrated nutrient management on growth, yield, oil content and nutrient uptake of'RH 30'Indian mustard (Brassicajuncia) under 2 levels of farmyard manures (2.5 and 5 tonnes/ha) and inorganic N (0,40,80 kg/ha) the combination with 2 strains of bacteria (Azotobactor chroococcunz and Azospirillum) as biofertilizers. Branches, 1OOO-seed weight and oil content ofIndian mustard and yield ofseed and straw increased significantly with the application offannyard manures (5 tonneslha+Azotobactor chroococcum + Azospirilluln ) over the control. Application of nitrogen showed liner increase ofthe characters up to 80 kg N/ha.
