Aquaculture is a globally fast-growing food sector, and its economic significance is increasing consistently. India has massive potential in aquaculture resources, but the overall production is not impressive as, in most places, traditional farming practices are commonly used (Kathia et al., 2005). The disease management approach in traditional farming is very poor.
