Our society is moving in a new direction, having new opportunities. Technology has given new dimensions to our lifestyle, on the other hand,
we are still unaware of its serious and fatal consequences, still a large number of people are not aware of e-waste and its side effects- E-waste
is also known as electronic waste; it is a special type of waste from which valuable metals like gold, silver, copper are extracted. We receive this
waste from electrical and electronic equipments which are not in use or their uses have been stopped due to wear and tear, also due to change
in technology. Apart from all these, today due to continuous change in our likes and dislikes and our interest, we want to be updated in an interval
of about 6 months to 1 year. As a result we buy new gadgets, without considered what we will do with the old. E-waste remains a matter of grave
concern in the world today. This e-waste is being disposed off informally in India. Thousands of lower-class laborers along with their families are
engaged in this work, and this is also their means of earning livelihood. Considering all these factors, this research paper has been written in the
form of a case study about management, under which how this e-waste is scientifically managed in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh in E-waste
clinic. This "E-waste clinic" of Bhopal, a self-help organization is an initiative of a meaningful organization, as well as this clinic has the distinction
of becoming India's first e-waste clinic. Through this study we will be able to know the importance of e-waste awareness and management
which are being done by the meaningful organization among the people for public awareness.
