Description 736-744
Many years of experience in teaching pneumatic control have pointed out numerous problems in understanding the logic
of pneumatic control. Therefore, this paper focuses on describing the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) applications
developed for engineering students to enhance collaborative and autonomous learning and understanding of pneumatic
control schemes. Also, a new version of workbook was introduced. In order to monitor the results of using AR applications,
an evaluation was conducted among students for the original and upgraded versions of AR applications. Through the
evaluation, the students expressed their impressions about the innovative teaching process and the use of AR technologies in
the learning process. AR is emerging as the very good technology to complement and enhance the traditional learning
process. The AR applications have a significant contribution to the understanding of pneumatic schemes and a strong impact
on students' knowledge that helps them achieve the desired learning outcomes faster.
