An inconsistency in the sequence of cycle event of oestrus and oestrous cycle was conspicuously evident. The length and percentage of 'short' 6.40 ± 0.25 day and 19; 'normal' 20.29 ± 0.38 day and 56; and 'long' 43.63 ± 2.97 day and 25, were recorded respectively.
