Description |
The female reproductive behaviour in Black Bengal does was studied with a significant (P < 0.01) difference between the onset of oestrus in the morning and evening hour, and variable length of oestrus cycle. An inconsistency in the sequence of cycle event of oestrus and oestrous cycle was conspicuously evident. The length and percentage of 'short' 6.40 ± 0.25 day and 19; 'normal' 20.29 ± 0.38 day and 56; and 'long' 43.63 ± 2.97 day and 25, were recorded respectively.
