Description |
This layer group describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2022_V05 "The Tsunamigenic Submarine Landslides and Deep-Marine Canyons of Australia’s Tasman Sea Margin: Causes and Consequences" which departed Hobart on 28th Mar 2022 and arrived at Brisbane on 3rd Jul 2022. This voyage utilised the seismic reflection profiling, bathymetric mapping, coring, and dredging capabilities of the RV Investigator to gather the data required to test competing models of the SEACM’s geologic evolution and how its submarine landslides generate dangerous and potentially lethal tsunami. This dataset is published with the permission of CSIRO. Not to be used for navigational purposes. The dataset contains bathymetry grids of 10m to 210m resolution of the Tasman Sea Margin, produced from the processed EM122 and EM710 bathymetry data. |
