Description |
The effects of anti-intlammatory drugs were examined on the human plasma-induced acute inflammatory response in chicken skin. The vascular permeability was evaluated using the 'dye' technique. Intradermal injection of human plasma. in the sensitized chicken evoked an immediate and marked increase in the vascular permeability. Histamine and 5- hy-droxytryptamine (5-HT) appeared to be the major mediators of the permeability response in the early phase. the involvement of histamine being more significant.
