Description Intramuscular administration of ketamine@ 5 mg/kg body weight in atropine (@0.1 mg/kg I/M) and medetomidine (@15 I/g/kg I/M) premedicated 12 male goats induced surgical anaesthesia in 10.62 ± 0.18 min. Anaesthesia lasted for 46.66 ± 4.40 min and the complete recovery occurred in 1·21.66±7.26 min.
