The first survey section, or the Main Survey Area, includes Yu islet and the surrounding area, all within 5km of the islet.
The Second survey section, or the Supplementary Survey Area, includes many of the similar habitats up to 15 km southeast of the Yu Islet. It also includes birds that was observed on the DPRK side of the river.
