Description Survey of Young People in Egypt (SYPE) is a nationally representative sample of young people in the Middle East and North Africa. The 2009 survey included 15,000 young people between the ages of 10 and 29 from 11,000 households. The 2014 survey follows more than 10,000 original respondents. Gender-disaggregated information on health, schooling, employment, and civic engagement is available.
