Professor Robert Huke from Dartmouth University claims that the figure of 500 million as the number of people fed by the rice and wheat technologies, jointly, is far too conservative. The release also decribe's IRRI's three new research programs aiming to adapt the green revolution to less favored areas that have been thus far overlooked.
