Notes on a meeting of thirteen representatives of seven IARCs (including the AVRDC) meeting at the Rockefeller Foundation conference center at Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, Italy to discuss the roles and responsibilities of IARC directors and governing boards, the CGIAR Secretariat, the Technical Advisory Committee, the relations between them, and collaboration among IARCs. Budgeting, accounting, and personnel policies and procedures of the IARCs. The directors decided to continue to meet periodically, thus creating what came to be known as the Center Directors Committee, or CDC. Carryover of a meeting of center directors at the CGIAR International Centers Week 1972. Document circulated as background to CGIAR International Centers Week July-August 1973.
