Description A field experiment was conducted for two consecutive rabi seasons from 2017-18 to 2018-19 to evaluate thebiopriming potential of Trichoderma and Pseudomonas as a seed dressers for management of seed and soil borne diseases of safflower. Among the different priming treatments, seed bio-priming with Trichoderma harzianum @ 10g/litre water for 12 hrs was found most effective as it recorded significantly highest germination (95.3%), least incidence of Phytophthora seedling blight (4.9%), Fusarium wilt (4.4%) and Macrophomina root rot (4.7%) and significantly highest seed yield (1023 kg/ha), net monetary returns (Rs.21260/-) and B:C ratio (2.21).
