It emphasized their importance and impact on research practices and introduced CGIAR's dedication to Open Access and Open Data Policy. Furthermore, the presentation outlined ICARDA's guidelines for producing and disseminating information products and offered practical strategies for enhancing knowledge products' Open Access and FAIRness. Two specific examples—a report and a journal article—were used to illustrate these strategies.
The session concluded by presenting valuable resources for researchers interested in understanding Open Access and publisher policies, facilitating their publication choices.
This comprehensive overview aimed to promote transparency and accessibility in research, fostering a more open and interconnected research landscape.
