Description This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Released (CNVR) intervention on free-roaming dog (FRD) population management, the abatement of public nuisances, and dog abuse. FRD population (unowned) was surveyed at equal intervals (2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019). Public complaints on public nuisances and dog abuse regarding FRD from 2013 to 2020 were analyzed. Pearson’s chi-square goodness of fit and bivariate linear regression were used for the statistical analysis. CNVR intervention affected the abundance of  FRD population(χ² (3,N = 6201) = 57.6374, p-value = 1.87). FRD population abundance showed a significant relationship with public nuisances (except the incidence of dog bites, ρ>.05) and dog abuse.
