National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES) is a multi stage cross sectional survey, which are from a program of studies designed to assess the health and nutritional status of the U.S. population by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). NHANES surveys contains demographic, socioeconomic, dietary and health related questions in the interview components, medical and physiological measurements in the examination components and different types of laboratory tests in the lab components.
