Description This TRaC study is designed to measure indicators related to the prevention and treatment of diarrhea. The purpose of this study is then: i)for TRaC survey on diarrhea prevention to evaluate water treatment prior to consumption (including boiling, filtering, use of chloring or safe-water solutions) and ii)for TRaC survey on diarrhea treatment the zinc and ORS/oral rehydration therapy or ORT use. This study is funded by USAID. The diarrhea prevention study requires about 1,650 caregivers of children under five years old and need to screen 2,640 households. This will provide a representative results in national, urban and rural level. The diarrhea treatment study requires 632 children who had diarrhea in the last two weeks preceeding the survey. About 10,972 households need to be screened. For both studies, 152 Enumeration Areas would be visited with 82 in rural area and 70 in urban area.
