Description |
The purpose of Annual Behavioural Tracking Survey (ABTS-II)-2011 for FSWs and MSMs was to track the progress of the Mukta program on thematic areas ranging from behaviour change around safe sex to community mobilization including empowerment of HRGs in Maharashtra. It also attempted to measure the changes in patterns of substance abuse and the level of program exposure. The specific objectives of the ABTS were: To measure intervention progress on key sexual behaviour and supporting indicators; To validate data generated through program monitoring; To collect additional information for programmatic needs; To identify the opportunity gaps in the program; To compare the information drawn with the earlier round of BTS (ABTS-1); To derive the strategic information and suggest recommendations to upscale the programme. The districts covered under the survey were Beed, Kolhapur, Latur, Nashik, Pune and Yavatmal. The survey was conducted during August-September 2011 by Pathfinder. |
