Description |
Data are the list of congressional districts coded based on the criteria identified in Carson, Crespin, Finocchiaro, and Rohde's "Redistricting and Party Polarization in the U.S. House of Representatives," American Politics Research 35 (November 2007): 878-904. See pages 885-888. Districts are tracked across redistricting cycles, and classified as "continuous" or "new" based on the extent of change.
