Candidate summary and individual donor files provided through a special extraction of internal FEC databases by FEC staff and authorized for public release. These files are similar to public files available for download on the FEC website http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/ftp_download.shtml. They differ in that they have been cleaned by FEC staff and contain all reported individual donors, whereas the public files residing on the FEC website are not as thoroughly cleaned and censor some donors who gave an aggregate under $200 to a single candidate in an election cycle. These files are provided as is. Please refer to FEC documentation for variable descriptions.
