Description |
This dataset comprises the results of a short public survey on attitudes to reburial of human remains uncovered by archaeological excavations, conducted in New Zealand in 2006. The survey was based upon one that had been carried out in the United Kingdom in 2005, and indicates a clear contrast in public opinion in the two countries. The survey results have been analysed in a masters dissertation on human remains repatriation to New Zealand, which was subsequently published in shorter form in the journal Public Archaeology.
