Description TOGARY is a tool for automated data collection. The program extracts information on corruption judicial sentences from the Brazilian National Council of Justice (CNJ) website, stores it in a structured dataset and then exports it as a spreadsheet format. Our motivation to create this software was the website's lack of systematic disclosure since data is only available for case by case research. The latest TOGARY update has detailed information on 17.505 corruption cases judged by subnational, national, electoral and superior courts between 1992 and 2014. With this paper, we hope to diffuse the application of automated data collection procedures in Social Sciences.
