Description |
The Danville Region Social Capital Survey is a regional telephone survey, sponsored by the Danville Regional Foundationand conducted in April 2009 by the Center for Survey Research (CSR) at the University of Virginia. The purposes of this survey were to measure people's attitudes about and attachments to their region and community as well as to measure the region's social capital. These survey results are also intended to provide baseline data to be used in comparison to future, bi-annual surveys. CSR conducted interviews with 1,026 randomly selected individuals living in the City of Danville, VA, Pittsylvania County, VA and Caswell County, NC.
