Description |
The Integrated Behavioural and Biological Assessment is a significant component of the overall evaluation strategy of the Avahan programme. The third round of the IBBA was conducted between 2009 to 2011 for FSWs in selected districts of Karnataka state of India. The objectives of the IBBA were: a) to measure the major outcomes of HIV interventions funded by Avahan under the India AIDS Initiative; b) to make data available for estimating sizes of populations targeted by the Avahan programme and; c) to make information available to partner organizations under Avahan for modelling the impact of the intervention.
