Description |
In 2008, PSI Angola conducted a quantitative study with CSW in Luanda and Cunene. This study found that consistent condom use was significantly higher in Luanda (87%) than in Cunene (25%). Although re-ported condom use was quite high in Luanda, there are troubling trends in other indicators of availability and ability to use condoms. Findings from this study indicated that CSW were more likely to use con-doms consistently if they had higher self efficacy with respect to condom use and felt at higher risk of be-coming infected with HIV.
