Description |
To provide data to guide this new intervention, PSI conducted a baseline quantitative study with two objectives: 1) to measure current iodized salt use and related perceptions towards nutrition and iodized salt and 2) to identify the determinants of iodized salt use. This report presents the results of this survey, which will be used to identify determinants of behavior change to be targeted in a communications campaign and as a baseline from which PSI can evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. A second round survey is planned for the first quarter of 2009.
