This data collection contains a subset of variables from the 1970 U.S. census, 5% and 15% samples, combined with the 1980 census 5% sample. The variables in the 1970 data are: county group, sex, age, highest grade attended, finished highest grade, 1970 industry, 1970 occupation, wage and salary earnings, earnings from self-employment, earnings from farm self-employment, and 1980 Trieman imputation codes. The 1980 variables are: region/division, state, sex, age, highest grade of school attended, finished highest grade, 1980 industry, 1980 occupation, wage and slaary earnings in 1979, non-farm self-employment income, farm self-employment income. |
