The public dataset is comprised of a record for each inpatient discharged from a California licensed hospital. These hospitals include: General Acute Care, Acute Psychiatric, Chemical Dependency Recovery, and Psychiatric Health. Variables include: basic demographic details on patient, pre-hospital care, source of payment, total charges, cause of injury, diagnosis and length of stay.
