Description |
KLIPS is a longitudinal study, begun in 1998 of a representative sample of Korean households and individuals living in urban areas. The study is conducted annually to track the characteristics of households as well as the economic activities, labor movement, income, expenditures, education, job training, and social activities of individuals. Separate questionnaires are used for households and individuals. In wave 3 and 9, a youth questionnaire was added. Topical modules include health and retirement (w4); old age (w6); working hours and leisure (w7); union and labor management relations (w8); types of employment (w10); and education (w11). More information is available from the Study Overview, downloadable from this site as a PDF. Much of the documentation, codebooks and questionnaires are in Korean language.
