Description The 1966-1967 West Malaysian Family Survey was a national probability survey undertaken to gather baseline data on fertility and family planning knowledge, attitudes, and practices. Although the Survey was focused upon fertility and family planning topics, it contains a wealth of data on other socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of the population of Peninsular Malaysia. The data was later re-coded by Professor Treiman with Prestige Scores.
