The purpose of this study is the evaluate the level of welfare of the national populations of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The survey addresses the difference between welfare and happiness, as well as the individuals' perceived level of living, and self-evaluated quality of life. Later, Donald Treiman, a Sociology Professor at UCLA, acquired the data and evaluated it based on his own Prestige scoring system. Note: the data and documentation are irregular and care should be taken in using the files.
