This collection of files is from longitudinal studies conducted by the Institute of Nutrition of central America and Panama (INCAP), between 1969 and 1977. The studies focused on the physical and psychological development in pre-school aged children in rural Guatemala. The purpose was to investigate the impact of mild to moderate malnutrition on physical and mental growth and development in pre-school aged (0-7 years old) children in rural Guatemala.
