The book has been written after a 21-days village level Field study in various parts of India. The status of product and policy issues have been identified in consultation with the farmers using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools. The book provides comprehensive analysis about Palakkadan Matta rice, Kurnool rice, Basmati rice, Pahari aloo and Bannur sheep mutton. The field work is carried out by the trainees of 81 Foundation Course for Agricultural Research Service (FOCARS).
