Description Mineralogic and geochemical data related to the study of 'Characteristics of red bed bleaching by hydrocarbon migration: a natural example from the Entrada sandstone, southern Utah'. The dataset also includes the PHREEQC code used in the study, which is a batch geochemical advection model created to explore if the chemical interaction of a reduced fluid with a hematite-bearing sandstone produces the mineralogical changes we observe in the studied section.
