Description Haitian Vodou drapo are used in ceremonies to honor the spirits. They have also become a major tourist art attraction. The spirit Èzili Freda is a Lwa of love, fortune, abundance, and business savy, so her vèvè (sacred drawing) is a pink or red heart (featured center). Danbala is a wide elder spirit associated with serpents and his wife Ayida Wèdo is a wise elder regarded as the rainbow serpent; Danbala and Ayida Wèdo are considered creator spirits, and are also represented by a cosmic egg (top center). Danbala is also one of Èzili Freda's many husbands, so the 2 green serpents here are Danbala and Ayida Wèdo with Èzili Freda.
