This link includes replication materials and data for 'Selective Control.' GED-MC (A Global Event Dataset of Media Censorship) is a new micro-dataset of 9,000 hand coded individual media censorship events and their characteristics (types of censors, timing, type of events triggering censorship, and many others) around the world between 2001 and 2015. The event data is also accompanied by a new country-year panel of salient censorship events for 196 countries (2001 - 2015) (TSGEDMC) compiled based on GED-MC.
