Description |
John Ziemer was the long-time editor of Chinese and Asian Publications at Stanford University Press, and founding editor of the Asia Center Publications division of Harvard University Press. At the time of this interview, Ziemer was working at Harvard and agreed to share his thoughts and memories of his colleague, G. William Skinner. The interview touches on the research methods and editorial processes that went into the compilation of Skinner's bibliography series, as well as more general meditations on Skinner's ideas, thought process, working styles, and many of the people he worked with at Stanford. |
