Description The primary objective of the study is the overall characteristics of the social structure of Polish society of the second half of the 80's. Topics include: Class divisions, the problem inter-class distances, the issue of physical and psychological burden of work, leisure resources in the labor process, measurements of physical location, typology of households' financial situation, the position in the system of rationing of consumer goods, participation in culture, prestige occupations, social personality types, the issue distribution of privileges, openness of the social structure, the perception of individuals in society, ideas about the sources, nature, and consequences of social inequalities, social mobility, the growth of inequality of educational, career education course. Questions were asked on job conditions, socio-occupational position household (income, furnishings, financial difficulties), who helps whom, social contacts, family histo
ry, party and trade union affiliation, perception of privileged groups, attitudes towards egalitarianism and actual and just distribution of goods.
