Description The purpose of this study was to provide estimates of the prevalence of premarital intercourse, use and nonuse of contraception, pregnancy, and pregnancy resolution among teenagers. The study also attempted to determine how knowledgeable teenage women were about contraception and the menstrual cycle. This study is similar to the 1971 National Survey of Young Women.
