Description |
This dataset includes baseline data for 1245 women who accepted a long-acting, reversible contraceptive (LARC) method between February 2018 and April 2019 in 28 sites across 4 provinces of Senegal. Survey question topics at baseline covered demographics, reasons for method choice, method counseling, past use of contraception, and reasons women thought they might discontinue in the future. Follow-up interviews were conducted 1, 3, 6, and 12 months post-acceptance of a LARC; those data are avialable in another dataset in this dataverse. Please see data documentation for how to merge datasets.
