Description In the article, the authors consider state support for the export of the crop industry as one of the most critical sectors of Russian agriculture, which significantly impacts the country's food security. The authors developed a methodology for subsidizing the export of crop products based on the data of the rating of crops in terms of the economic efficiency of cultivation and export potential. According to the methodology, barley has the highest export potential in the region, followed by soybeans, rapeseed and wheat with the same score. Also, according to the method, the authors determined that the total amount of state support for growing export-oriented crops in the region is 15 241 093,23 dollars USD. The article also presents data on the major countries where the Novosibirsk region exports grain and leguminous crops. Based on all the data, the authors gave recommendations for government agencies to implement them in the state policy to support the export of the crop industry. These recommendations deserve the attention of not only government specialists but also all stakeholders who are associated with the crop industry.
