Description |
This dataset contains .csv files containing timestamps for the "moments of interest" (MOIs) in the behaviour of the participants (common cuttlefish, Sepia officinalis) of the Cuttle Shuttle experimental trials, namely: - 'food-offerings': whenever the robotic prey lowered its arm into the water and food was made available to the cuttlefish; - 'homebase': whenever the cuttlefish settled on, under, or near the "home base" area of the experimental tank; - 'orients': whenever cuttlefish displayed any rapid changes to color, posture, or whole-body alignment in response to the robotic prey; - 'tentacle-shots': whenever cuttlefish threw their tentacles towards the robotic prey and made an attempt to catch food; and - 'catches': whenever cuttlefish successfully caught the bit of shrimp on the robotic prey. |
