Description This dataset contains the data required to reproduce the results of the article "Porosity Evolution in Metallic Asteroids: Implications for the Origin and Thermal History of Asteroid 16 Psyche." It includes:

  • outputs of 29 Psyche mass models with initial temperatures of 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, and 900 K and initial porosities of 50, 60, 70, and 80 vol%. A model with an initial temperature of 950 K and an initial porosity of 70 vol% is also included

  • outputs of 5 models with masses of 1E17 kg with initial porosities of 70 vol% and initial temperatures of 750, 800, 850, 900, and 950 K

  • outputs of 5 models with masses of 5E17 kg with initial porosities of 70 vol% and initial temperatures of 750, 800, 850, 900, and 950 K

  • outputs of 5 models with masses of 1E18 kg with initial porosities of 70 vol% and initial temperatures of 750, 800, 850, 900, and 950 K

  • outputs of 5 models with masses of 5E18 kg with initial porosities of 70 vol% and initial temperatures of 750, 800, 850, 900, and 950 K

  • outputs of 28 Psyche mass models with a reference viscosity of 1E13 Pa s at 1800 K with initial porosities of 50, 60, 70, and 80 vol% and initial temperatures of 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, and 900 K

  • outputs of 28 Psyche mass models with a reference viscosity of 1E9 Pa s at 1800 K with initial porosities of 50, 60, 70, and 80 vol% and initial temperatures of 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, and 900 K
