Description |
Clove was successfully propagated vegetatively by approach grafting. A success of 87% is reported for the first time. when grafting was done during September-November. Two ellicotyl grafts. each on Eugenia jambolana and Eugenia caryopllyllus rootstock. survived. Cleft grafting was also successful.Other methods using cuttings and layering were not successful.
