Description Background: Maternal and neonatal deaths can be reduced by ensuring full access to maternity services. Yet, in Ethiopia, evidence indicates low utilization of these services, posing a major challenge. Thus, more evidence is needed on maternity services' continuity at the national level in general, and particularly in Bench Sheko zone where no previous studies have been conducted.
Objective: To determine the magnitude and its determinants of the complete uptake of maternity services in Bench Sheko zone, Ethiopia.
Methods: From February 1st to April 30th, 2023, community-based cross-sectional study was conducted, involving a total of 848 postpartum women nested in 21 kebeles. Data was collected using pretested structured questionnaires, entered using EpiData version 3.1, and analyzed by STATA version 14.
