Description In the October-November-December (OND) 2023 short rains season, 15,030 farmers in Kitui, Makueni, and Taita Taveta Counties in Kenya, received improved seed varieties for planting. Each county saw equitable distribution to 5,000 farmers, with 30 designated as demo hosts. The compilation provides essential details, including names, gender, location and the specific seed varieties received. The primary goal of this endeavor was to facilitate access to Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) technologies tailored to the different agroecological zones in the drylands, ultimately aiming to improve crop yields and enhance food security in the region.
