| Description |
Clove of commerce is the dried, aromatic, fully grown but unopened flower bud of the clove tree. It is usually raised from Its seed. J. Rema and B. Krishnamoorthy have standardized approach-grafting on clove rootstock with 80 per cent success at the National Research Centre for Spices, Cali cut. The vegetatively-raised trees are also superior.
