Educational technology tools play a vital and crucial role in facilitating classroom teaching and makes it more effective and successful. The purpose of the study was to examine how the teachers use educational technology tools in classroom teaching. The study was conducted in the academic year of 2018-2019 in two agricultural universities in Telangana and Chhattisgarh namely PJTSAU, Hyderabad and IGKV, Raipur. These state agricultural universities were selected by the stratified simple random sampling procedure. 30 teachers were randomly selected from one university and 30 from another thus, the total 60 teachers were considered as a sample size of the study. Data was collected through a structured interview schedule and analyzed by the statistical tools. The findings shown that infrastructure facilities were adequately available to the institution which makes enable the effective classroom teaching. Most of the teachers regularly seeks the teaching material in internet, reference book and they make fresh notes themselves for teaching students in the classroom. Most of the teachers were having good level of expertise in ET tools such as word-processing, presentation software, electronic mail, library and database searching and search engine. Teachers were mostly got exposure on the daily basis from television, newspaper, computer, books and internet. The majority of the teachers were found to be regular user of teaching methods and aids like lecture, power point, seminar, L.C.D. projector, specimen, black/white board and computer. The teachers were having occasional use of teaching methods and aids like field visit, demonstration, experiential learning, group discussion, assignment, and group project. The findings of the study provide key information to educational institution to improve effective use of ET tools in the classroom teaching.
