Description |
Ray trace output data for "High-Latitude Off-Great Circle Propagation Associated with the Solar Terminator". Each compressed .7z file contains folders for each hour of a single day, named according to the scheme: offgc_SEASON2020_YYMMD_HHMMSS. Inside each folder are the following files: offgc_SEASON2020_YYMMD_HHMMSS_FFFFFF_out.mat: Matlab data file containing ray landing information for the ray trace run at FFFFFF kHz. Each row corresponds to a separate ray landing. Columns in order are: Transmitted azimuth, transmitted elevation, landing latitude, landing longitude, path length (km), landing elevation, landing azimuth, transmitter gain (dB), receiver gain (dB), absorption (dB). offgc_SEASON2020_YYMMD_HHMMSS_ionosphere.png: Map of the model ionosphere critical frequency at that time. offgc_SEASON2020_YYMMD_HHMMSS_FFFFFF.png: Map showing signal coverage for the indicated time and frequency. |
